On July 20-21, 2011 the Outdoors Club went on a overnight campout to Schafer Butte. We had a great day of hiking and a night of roasted marshmellowand star gazing.

Kayaking
On July 13th we went to Quinns Pond for a day of kayaking. The weather and water were great. Special thanks to Stan and Jo at Idaho River Sports for the use of the kayaks and paddle boards.

TEEN BACKPACKING TRIP
On July 6-7 the Teens of the Outdoors Club took our annual backpacking trip into Blue Lake. Last year was sunny and warm but this year when we arrived we found the lake was still snowed in. We decieded to go on with the trip and hiked in and camped in the snow. The kids didn't even let the fact that the lake was frozen over stop them from going swimming.

ROCK CLIMBING
On June 22 the Outdoors Club went rock climbing at the Black Rocks near Lucky Peak. Bella hansen was the climber of the day by climbing over 80 feet to the top of the cliffs.

Hulls Gulch & MK Nature Center June 15, 2011
On June 15, 2011 we did a short hike up Hulls Gulch in the Boise foothills then spent the rest of the day at the MK Nature Center.
